Seniors- Fresh and Fun!

High School Seniors are always so fun! They are so energetic, they have great ideas and are excited about everything!
Meet 'C'....We got together the other evening and went all over town getting some 'urban style' looks, then we went to some funky locations like an old run down sugar mill and eventually ended up at the beach! The whole session was a blast and felt like a model fashion shoot! I know she had fun and probably thought I was crazy for a few of the places I wanted to put her, but she trusted me and we got great images for it!
Here are just a few... I have about 100 favorites of her and an excited to build her a storybook so she can remember this time in her life!

Fun at the Growing Nest!

I had such a fun weekend at the Growing Nest! I got to meet all kinds of cute kids and all of them were just awesome! I love working in that little studio there and the light is so nice! Here are a few of my favorite images from the weekend... hope they make you smile as much as they made me smile!

Dog Days at the Growing Nest

I have been busy the last week or two with some of the cutest kids I have ever seen! We have played in the studio, at the beach, at a park and had a great time! I love when a photo session is more about having a play date and I get to just be the one to capture the fun! So, here are a few samples, in no
particular order!
I can't wait for my next set of cute kids!

Just  a reminder too... we will be at the Blaisdell all weekend for the Pet Expo... We will have a drawing for a free session as well as Double Dollars, so grab your furry friends and come say hi to us at our booth!

Sugar and spice....

and everything nice describes this little beauty perfectly! The minute i saw her I couldn't wait to photograph her! Not only is she a gorgeous little four year old, she also has the best vibe and sweetness about her!
We did this session in less time than I wanted to because it started raining on us, I could of spent the whole day, ok, the whole week with her! She is such a sweetie! It was hard to narrow down to a few favorites to blog here, so I guess it is good that it rained or I would have an even harder time!

Growing Nest Sneak Peek!

We had some great session last Saturday at the Growing Nest! It is such a great store and I love the area that I get to shoot in... it is so awesome to be inside and use natural light!
Here is a sneak peek of some of our cute kids from Saturday!

Growing Nest Sessions

We are so excited to be working with the Growing Nest at Ward Warehouse! This is the cutest maternity and children's  boutique and they carry a great line of accessories, furnishings and even have Music  and Art classes!

They have a large and beautiful store and one area I immediately loved when I first walked into it and said "I want to photograph in here!" It has gorgeous light and for me, its all about the good light! So now I am lucky enough to be teaming up with them and we still have a few slots left for our Mothers Day Spring Colors sessions!

Call the Growing Nest to get on the calendar 591-2881 for one of these specially priced sessions, oh and we have special packages just for these sessions too!

I heart newborns

Newborn babies are the most wonderful creatures on earth! I love all of their special little parts and am always amazed at how perfectly formed they are in this miniature version

I have lots of new ideas for newborns and am excited that the Baby Expo will be coming soon!
I am looking for one more newborn "model" for a display idea that I have, so if you know of anyone that has had a baby this week or is due now and they  would like some free images, have them call me right away! 
I like to have newborns in when they are just a few days old, that way they sleep more and stay more curled up...
But they just as adorable when they stretch out too lie this little baby girl.... Mom and Dad met at a baseball field so how appropriate is this!!!

So let me know if you know of a newborn baby... I would love to photograph them this week!!

Great Couple

I had the joy of working with this great couple the other evening.... It was super fun for me because they didn't have any preconceived ideas and were totally open to just letting me play with my ideas! Not to mention they are gorgeous which jut made my day all that much better!!   

We had lots of fun and it was a great session!
Can't wait for my session tonight with some kids in a similar setting!

Amazing Seniors!

I love working with High School Seniors... they are so much fun and the session is more like a playful fashion shoot rather than a portrait session!
This is the second senior from this family that I have photographed.... I worked with her sister a couple years ago. She was so much fun and what an amazing girl.... So multi-talented!  I remember seeing her painting a few years ago and now she is off to art school! She is also a dancer, a sailor and an all around great kid! We had lots of fun and these images were  taken at the beach her parents were married at so many years ago!
