I just had to share some images from this really cute family session I did a week or so ago at Waimea Valley....
they were so fun and basically just played and let me do my thing! That is my favorite way to capture images! Little "B" was quite a cutie with a strea
k of rascal in him.... so much fun! 
It's the start of a long weekend... we are planning on lots of beach time! Hope everyone has lots of fun!

I am loving my new water housing for my camera and now need some "models" to go play with and create some fun images to show others what kind of images they could do...
So I am looking for a hapai model... she should be about 7½ to 8½ months pregnant and in really good shape, oh and she must love getting in the ocean! She should also be available to be at the beach on the North Shore around 8:30 am one day this week or possibly doing a sunset shoot. It would also be great if she had a husband also in really good shape to join in the images...
I would also like a a female model between 18-30ish to do some water images with me in a bikini for use on some display pieces.
If you know anyone that fits these categories and would be interested, please have them contact me. I wil be trading photos for their time!

I love working with high school seniors... we always seem to have so much fun and I love the looks they give me! Meet 'B' 
She was so much fun and full of good energy! 
She has these amazing eyes too... don't ya think?
I loved playing with her images.... she is an artistic kind of girl, a dancer, so hope you like these B! 
and now she is off to dance school in new York... what a brave girl going so far! I know you will do great things and I wish you all the success in the world! 
and don't forget to call me when you come back so we can do some more dance images on the beach!

What a weekend! The Blaisdell was packed for the Made in Hawaii Festival from 10 in the morning til 9 at night! I met so many great people and it was fun seeing a lot of friends come by too!
Thanks to all of those that purchased a calendar... we SOLD OUT!!! We do have one last batch coming in this week though, so if you are interested in getting one, please be sure and get a hold of us soon! We will not be able to re-order after this batch is gone. Here is one more cutie
that is on the calendar....
On a sad note, I just learned today that one of my clients who just had a beautiful baby girl in April has been diagnosed with liver cancer. Her friends and family are putting together an event to try and help the family off set some of the expenses associated with her getting the treatments she needs. I am a cancer survivor myself and know just how long, grueling and expensive this battle can be... but it is a battle that can be won. Please keep the family in your prayers. 
If you would like to attend the fund raiser, it is Saturday September 1st at Pipeline Cafe from 2-8pm... they are asking for a $25 donation at the door. If you would just like to send a monetary donation, you can make the check payable to her husband Mark Wagatsuma and mail it to me at Island Style Images, PO Box 655, Haleiwa, Hawaii 96712 and I will see that it gets forwarded to them right away. 
Please keep good thoughts for the family for a full and speedy recovery from this terrible disease.

The biggest show of the year at the Blaisdell Arena starts tomorrow and goes through Sunday! There will be so many cool things to look at and buy! We hope to see a lot of you there... come by our booth and say hi! We will be in the Pacific Handcrafters Guild Section, which is the corner closest to Ward and Kapiolani Boulevard.
We will have our Faces of Hawaii Calendar there ready for you to take home... these will make great Christmas presents and we hope to sell out of these as the profits will be donated to Shriners Hospital for Children to help build there new hospital in Honolulu.

I have been seeing so many beautiful women lately that have that special 'glow'.... here are a couple!

and now I have a new 'toy' that I can even take into the water! I am really excited about this and can't wait to do some more water images!

Our newest Limited Edition series is coming up later this month and we still have a few openings on Friday the 24th and maybe 1 or 2 still open on Saturday the 25th!
This will be a super cute session for babies and toddlers, 6 months to 4 years is probably the best age range. We have lots of cute tutu's for the girls and the boys can come in jeans or overalls....
Every print from this session will be an art piece with hand coloring or some other special effects to make it one of a kind! These prints will be GREAT Holiday gifts, especially for tutu! If you want to sign up, call soon!
