we are winding down from a wonderful year here at ISI.... we have one more day before we close 2007. Thanks to everyone that has been a part of it and touched my life this year...you all mean more than you know to me. I am sure I will have more posts before the year actually ends, but I wanted to say that now anyway!
A BIG shout out tonite for all the wonderful help I received today at our underwater fun shoot!! I haven't processed any images but will share just as soon as I get them ready!
Thanks to all our hair and make up help... if you ever need a makeup artist I know 3 that I can highly recommend! To Laura and your family thanks for all you guys did! And I so appreciate Marsha, Sandy & Theresa from the Marsha Nadalin Salon & Spa for coming out! We had some really unique and cool looks because of you guys!
Thanks to Gina for letting all of us invade your backyard!! I owe you for that!!
Big kudos to all of the models who were all so beautiful and gracious. I learned a lot with all of you and know just how much harder it is to model than it looks... oh yeah and don't breathe, try not to float to the top, keep your eyes open, don't let any bubble come out of anywhere, pretend like you are warm, oh and relax and look graceful all at the same time!!! You guys were all troopers and I am just keeping my fingers crossed that I got some good ones of each of you that you will like!!
Jennifer, can't thank you enough for hanging next to me in the water for ... how many hours was that? I am sure you were freezing and pruned, but you kept working those lights for me! Thank you, thank you!!
And a special thanks to Sarah, the production manager and to Cassie the art director, also know as my right and left arms now!! Don't know what I would do without either of you! You guys ROCK!!!
I will work on the images soon and give all of you a glimpse into my underwater world of today!
Much aloha,
j
The winter season is in full force here on the North Shore...
We may not get the white cold stuff on the ground, but we know it is winter by the amount of white water in the ocean!! Here is a shot of Waimea Bay shore break the other day....
The waves here are an amazing thing to watch, but we do miss being able to get in the water! Guess that just gives us an even better appreciation for the summer days! Who says we don't have seasons in Hawaii?!?!
until next time...
aloha,
j
